Behind every answer there are people.

Neurally is an innovative startup founded in Ferrara on the experience of the software house DotEnv. We are developers and professionals who turn AI into simple, useful and secure experiences.

Eleven words. One way of working.

It isn’t a poster on the wall. It’s how we choose, discuss and build Neurally, every day, among ourselves and with our customers.

    1. 01

      Responsibility

Companies entrust us with their know-how. We act on clearly defined criteria, respecting our goals and those of our customers.
    2. 02

      Respect

For people, for their time and for the data entrusted to us.
    3. 03

      Creativity

We look for new ways to solve old problems. We try, we get it wrong, we improve.
    4. 04

      Debate

We say things as they are, even when they’re uncomfortable. The best ideas come out of a discussion.
    5. 05

      Collaboration

Decisions are made together: development, product and sales at the same table.
    6. 06

      Humility

We start from the questions, not from our answers. There’s always something to learn.
    7. 07

      Team

Everyone has a clear role; the result belongs to all of us. Nobody wins alone.
    8. 08

      Trust

We give it to each other and earn it every day with our customers.
    9. 09

      Growth

Of people, before the company. We care about their time, their growth and their balance.
    10. 10

      Freedom

To work from wherever suits you, to put forward an idea, to change course when needed.
    11. 11

      Ambition

We want Italian companies to know us and to learn to use AI without losing control of their know-how.

From a software house to a fully fledged startup, step by step

    1. 2023

      The idea

Neurally grows out of the vision of Simone Checcoli, founder and CTO of the software house DotEnv, together with four partners: employees of the same company, driven by the wish to combine years of software development with a passion for artificial intelligence.
    2. 2024

      The company

In April Neurally becomes a company: Neurally S.r.l., an innovative startup based in Ferrara. Pre-incubation and incubation programmes begin with Art-ER Emilia Romagna.
    3. 2025

      R&D and the first product

Neurally analyses the market and introduces object detection software for quality control, safety and urban optimisation. Next comes an AI assistant for companies, the first stage of today’s Neurally solution.
    4. 2026

      Validation and first public release

In June Neurally 1.0 is released, an agentic platform for managing and querying documents. In August comes the new engine, with calculations, video and visible reasoning.
    5. Today

      Business development and investor search

Neurally works with companies such as SACMI, OMRON and One Express, and launches Neurally as SaaS with monthly and annual subscriptions. At the same time it is approaching fundraising, working with mentors and advisors.

    Four pillars, before technology.

AI is an amplifier: applied to chaos, it accelerates chaos. That’s why, with every company, we start from the method.

    1. 01

      Read the context

“You can’t apply AI to a process you don’t know inside out.”
    2. 02

      Ask good questions

“AI is an answer machine, but the quality depends on the quality of the questions.”
    3. 03

      Assess reliability

“Reliability isn’t in the software, but in the human validation process.”
    4. 04

      Manage change

“Introducing AI means changing professional identity. If employees see it as a competitor, the project dies.”

If you want to understand how to apply AI to your systems, let’s talk.

What changed for the people who use it. In numbers.

Two projects in two different industries, told through the numbers of Neurally’s success stories.

    1. One Express

      Pallet freight
The challenge. 3,000 support request emails a day, handled manually. The solution. The ticketing system queries Neurally and decides whether to answer on its own. 2. SACMI

      Industrial technologies for ceramics
The challenge. Fragmented, incomplete equipment manuals and long manual tasks. The solution. OCR software with a bodycam worn by the operator creates the manuals in real time; with Neurally they are shared and consulted across departments.100%automation in creating equipment manuals
