Three steps, then it works on its own. And you always know where it stands.
Connect the repository
Choose the service and enter the access details, or log in with your account. Test the connection before saving it.“Connected: Neurally can reach the files.”Choose the folders
In a knowledge base, choose the folders to add. Neurally reads nothing until you do, and what’s already there stays as it is.Several folders, even from different repositoriesNeurally stays up to date
On cloud storage, when a file changes Neurally rereads it straight away. On company servers, syncing is manual: on each source you use “Update now”.Cloud storage: on every change

One repository, many departments
and each sees its own
Anyone given access to a repository can add its folders to their knowledge bases. They don’t see every file: only those in the knowledge bases they can use.
Everyone can use it in their knowledge bases, including people who join later. Each person sees only the files in the knowledge bases they can use.Only you can add its folders to your knowledge bases. Others see the answers only if you share the knowledge base with them.
If you disconnect it, documents already read stay in the knowledge bases but no longer receive updates. You can reconnect it whenever you like.
For ERP and internal systems, use the API
An API key accesses your organisation’s data like a normal session, with a usage limit designed for a real integration. Read access with Company, read and write with Business.
“Copy your API key now. You won’t be able to see it again.” You can deactivate it at any time.
Once a repository is connected, Neurally reads files in many formats
From PDFs to scans, from emails to CAD files. On Neurally Cloud each file can be up to 512 MB.

Frequently asked questions
The most common questions about Neurally connectors. Can’t find the answer? Contact us.
Which repositories can Neurally connect to?
SharePoint and OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, Amazon S3 and S3-compatible storage, FTP and SFTP servers, and Samba and WebDAV network folders. You can also upload files and folders from your computer to Neurally Cloud, up to 512 MB per file.
Does Neurally modify or delete files in your repositories?
No. Neurally is read-only: it can read the files and folders you choose and notice when they change, but it cannot modify, move or delete them. If you disconnect a repository, documents already read stay in the knowledge bases, with no further updates.
Do I need to move or duplicate my documents?
No. Neurally reads documents from the repositories where they already are and indexes them on servers in Italy so it can answer. Your folders stay organised the way you have them, and who sees what is decided in Neurally, knowledge base by knowledge base.
How often are documents updated?
It depends on where the files are. With cloud storage, that is SharePoint and OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox and Amazon S3, Neurally updates straight away, every time a file changes. With company servers, that is FTP, SFTP, Samba and WebDAV, syncing is manual: on each source you use “Update now” and “Process documents”.
Does Neurally connect to your ERP or management software?
Yes, through the API: read access on the Company plan, read and write on Business. Alternatively, reports exported from your management software to a connected folder, for example on SFTP or Amazon S3, are read like any other document.
