What is AI technical documentation management?
AI technical documentation management is the use of an AI agent to search and query drawings, bills of materials, specifications and manuals with natural-language questions. Neurally reads the documents where they are and answers citing document, revision and line, so every figure can be checked.
Can Neurally read drawings and CAD files?
Yes. With the Company plan it reads technical drawings as images; with the Business plan, native DWG, STEP and DXF CAD files too. On every plan it reads PDF, DOCX and scans with OCR.
How does it handle the different revisions of a drawing?
Every answer cites the document and the revision the data comes from, so you can see at once whether it is the current one.
Does it connect to our PDM or ERP?
Not directly. Neurally connects to SharePoint, Google Drive, S3, Dropbox, FTP, SFTP, Samba and WebDAV.
For PDM, PLM, ERP and other internal systems there are no dedicated connectors: integration is done via API, read-only with the Company plan and read and write with the Business plan.
